Attendance Projection Calculator
See how future attendance or absences could change your current attendance percentage before the course ends.
Privacy: calculator inputs are processed in your browser; Lynara does not need to upload these values to calculate the result.
Formula
projected attendance = (attended + future attended) ÷ (classes held + future attended + future missed) × 100
Update both counts when future meetings are added
- Start with 27 meetings attended out of 30 held.
- Attending 8 of the next 10 and missing 2 produces 35 attended out of 40 total meetings: 87.5%.
What the result tells you
Attending most future meetings can still lower a current 90% attendance rate because the future rate in this example is only 80%.
Before you use the result
This is a scenario rather than a timetable lookup. Recheck remaining meeting counts when cancellations, holidays or the course schedule change.
Useful for
- Attendance planning
- Future absence scenarios
- Course participation tracking
Questions
Can I test a future absence scenario?
Yes. Enter how many future classes you expect to attend and miss; the calculator adds both to the projected class total.
Does an excused absence count?
That depends on your institution. Enter only the meetings your official attendance policy counts.
