What Lynara does
Lynara provides grade and GPA calculators, standardized-test score utilities, citation generators, writing tools and classroom/study helpers. Deterministic tools run from explicit formulas or formatting rules so users can inspect the assumptions behind the result.
How citations are handled
Citation formatting is deterministic rather than AI-written. DOI import can reduce manual typing, but imported publisher metadata remains editable and should be checked against the source and the citation rules required by an instructor, department, journal or publisher.
How AI is treated
AI tools are optional learning aids rather than the foundation of the site. They remain disabled unless production abuse controls and a provider are deliberately configured. AI output can be incomplete or wrong and should not replace course material, instructor feedback or independent verification.
Corrections
Core calculator and citation logic is covered by automated tests. If a result appears wrong, use the contact page and include the page, the inputs and the result so the issue can be reproduced.
