Lynara separates deterministic calculations and citation formatting from AI-generated study material, and documents the authority used for each ruleset.
Calculation sources
Percentages, weighted averages and credit-weighted GPA calculations use standard mathematical formulas. Letter-grade cutoffs are presented only as a common reference because institutions differ.
Citation style authorities
Citation output is produced by deterministic TypeScript formatters rather than by an LLM. Imported metadata is always editable because DOI deposits and source records can be incomplete. The final reference should still be checked against the original source and any instructor, department or journal requirements.

Standardized-test scoring references
The SAT score tools follow College Board's published 200–800 section and 400–1600 total score ranges. Raw-score practice estimates are explicitly tied to the official 2026 SAT Practice Test #11 scoring guide rather than presented as a universal live-test conversion.

For the enhanced ACT used for all testers from September 2025, Lynara calculates the Composite from English, Math and Reading section scale scores. Legacy mode remains available for older four-section scoring.
