AI Assignment Workflow Builder

Turn a real assignment into an actionable plan. Choose how AI is allowed to assist, create a verification checklist and—only when permitted—copy a bounded prompt for your preferred AI assistant. This tool itself does not generate homework with AI.

Define your assignment

Do not paste private names, grades, restricted exam questions or other people's records. All processing takes place locally in your browser. No source verification or AI generation is performed.

      What this tool solves

The builder addresses the gap between having a task description and knowing which parts of it can safely be delegated. It produces an ordered action plan and a per-task human quality checklist for essays, presentations, research, mathematics or team projects. Unlike a chatbot, it cannot invent an answer or upload your data; it creates a prompt that you may choose to paste into a permitted AI tool.

If the instructor prohibits AI assistance, the builder displays only a manual workflow. If planning help is allowed but drafting is not, the generated prompt explicitly asks for structure and questions instead of submission-ready prose. If drafting is permitted, source verification and responsibility stay with the student. Any school policy overrides these options, and the tool does not judge whether a use is allowed.

      A worked presentation example

Suppose a four-minute presentation requires two original sources and five slides. The user selects Presentation, two real sources and planning-only AI. The generated plan first asks for clear audience takeaways, then source and fact verification, then a slide storyboard and timed rehearsal. A student still needs to locate authentic sources; entering two does not make the builder find them. The assignment-to-checklist guide explains how to verify rubric items, and the human-versus-AI task guide explains why the final decisions need human judgment.
