AI Meeting Action Item Checker: Owners & Due Dates

Turn a draft meeting summary into a review checklist. Check the owner, deadline, original decision reference and manual confirmation for each action. This tool does not record meetings, transcribe audio, assign tasks in real accounts or verify that anyone agreed to an action.

Action items to check

Sample entries are fictional; replace them before using your own authorized, non-sensitive meeting information. Nothing is saved or uploaded.

Overdue flags compare against this selected date, not your calendar.

Worked example: a proposal is not an assigned action

In a fictional operations meeting, a manager proposes a Friday customer callback window. The dispatcher must first check staffing. A draft summary that says “Introduce Friday callbacks permanently” invents a decision. The defensible action is “Confirm Friday coverage for a one-week pilot,” with an owner, the actual due date and a reference to the approved meeting note. Only mark the confirmation box after the responsible person has accepted the assignment. Our tool flags missing details; it does not infer them from a transcript.

What this tool will not decide

A checklist with all boxes filled does not prove a meeting was lawfully recorded, that attendees consented, that a proposed action is accurate or that the right supervisor approved it. Sensitive HR, legal, financial or customer-specific information should be processed only under an appropriate authorized workflow. The NIST AI Risk Management Framework is voluntary risk guidance, not a certification of any resulting checklist.
