Formula
Enhanced ACT Composite = round((English + Math + Reading) ÷ 3)
Example
English 30, Math 28 and Reading 31 average 29.67, which rounds to a 30 Composite.

Does Science count in the ACT Composite now?
For the enhanced ACT, the Composite is based on English, Math and Reading; Science is optional and is not part of the Composite.
Can I calculate an older ACT Composite?
Yes. Switch to legacy mode to average English, Math, Reading and Science.
