Supplier Quote Comparison Checker

A low unit price can hide a costly order minimum. Compare upfront costs for the quantity your business needs, including quoted shipping and one-time setup fees. Keep unverified supplier details clearly on hold.

Example figures are fictional US dollars. Replace all values with written quotes in the same currency. Leave all inputs for Supplier D blank to exclude it; also clear Supplier C to compare only two.

What a fair supplier comparison really means

The checker multiplies each quoted unit price by the greater of your required units and that supplier's minimum order. It then adds only shipping and setup fees you explicitly entered. For a fictional order of 250 items, a $4.40 offer with a 300-unit minimum can cost more upfront than a $5.00 offer with no extra required stock. Excess units are shown separately instead of being assumed either worthless or guaranteed to sell.

It does not fetch quotes, verify a vendor, estimate missing shipping, convert currencies, calculate unknown taxes, apply tiered discounts, score quality or authorize payment. Use identical units and the same currency for every row. If a quote covers a different product, stop and clarify it before trusting any sorted table. Even when every review box is checked by you, a company purchasing approval is still necessary.

The supplier quote comparison and AI verification guide walks through a fully itemized example, including how to keep source-document references. Use the AI Claim Verification Tracker for facts copied from AI summaries. If you're calculating staff time saved during procurement, the Business AI ROI Calculator addresses that separate question.
