How to Use a Teacher Grading Chart
A grading chart saves repeated division when many students take the same test. Each possible correct-answer count maps to one percentage.
Method
- Enter total questions once.
- Generate the complete chart.
- Match each paper’s correct count to a row.
- Record the percentage and apply your own letter-grade scale.
Worked example
On a 25-question test, 24 correct is 96%.
23 correct is 92% and 20 correct is 80%.
Notes
- Print the table for repeated use.
- The default letter column is only a reference.
- Point-weighted questions need a different method.
