How to Use a Teacher Grading Chart

A grading chart saves repeated division when many students take the same test. Each possible correct-answer count maps to one percentage.

Method

  1. Enter total questions once.
  2. Generate the complete chart.
  3. Match each paper’s correct count to a row.
  4. Record the percentage and apply your own letter-grade scale.

Worked example

On a 25-question test, 24 correct is 96%.

23 correct is 92% and 20 correct is 80%.
