PDF Notes to Images
Render pages from a study PDF into images in your browser so you can use individual pages in notes, slides or study materials.
Formula
Each PDF page is rendered to a browser canvas at the selected scale, then encoded as PNG or JPEG.
Choose a render size for the destination instead of maximizing it
- A six-page handout should produce six page images when every page is rendered.
- Check the smallest text or most detailed graph first, then compare larger-scale output with the destination’s upload limit.
What the result tells you
An image is a visual rendering rather than editable text extraction. A larger file is useful only when its extra detail serves the intended task.
Before you use the result
Protection, unsupported content or PDF damage can prevent rendering. Inspect every exported page for missing content and preserve a readable original.
Useful for
- Lecture-note pages
- Slides from PDF handouts
- Study images from readings
Questions
Does Lynara upload my PDF?
No. The PDF bytes stay in your browser. Fixed renderer code is loaded on demand, then each page is rendered locally.
Will the images keep selectable text?
No. The output is a raster image of each page. Keep the original PDF when you need selectable or accessible text.
