Does DOI lookup guarantee a perfect citation?
No. Crossref supplies publisher-deposited metadata and Lynara checks PubMed/NLM for a journal abbreviation when available, but incomplete or incorrect source metadata still requires human review.
How are long author lists handled?
For more than 6 personal authors, Lynara lists the first 3 followed by et al, consistent with current JAMA/AMA reference instructions.
